Cronus, The World Hydra

26th may, 09.57am

Working afternoon shift, so spending my time a bit for this.

"ROOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!" the final hydra head roars as your blade pierces the soft underside of its neck. Cronus writhes in pain and starts to quiver. Cronus's head starts to waver back and forth as it struggles to maintain upright. You gather strength in your tired legs and step back as you fear Cronus might collapse directly onto you. Suddenly Cronus's eyes roll back into the back of its head. The massive body crashes to the ground and creates a thunderous roar that sends shockwaves through the earth.

Cronus lies motionless. It's finally dead! You and your army rejoice. It was a long battle and many good soldiers were lost but the threat is over. VICTORY!

I'm back...what a excellent army that i have here.Sylvanah the Sorceress Queen Dead!
Here is the updates.

Sylvanas: You cannot stop what has begun. Your fates has been decided and the destruction of this world is inevitable.

Celesta: Why are you doing this? Mephistopheles will destroy all the lands including the Sacred Forests. This will mean the end of the Elven race. You should know this well.

Sylvanas: The Elves have become nothing more than pompous fools who argue politics and wage war against each other. We are no better than the humans at this point. With the destruction of the Sacred Forest, we will purge the world and it will be reborn.

Celesta: Mephistopheles will never make this happen. He is vile and twisted and only destruction will follow. Please reconsider Sylvanas! Just surrender and we'll go back to the Elven Council and plead your case.

Sylvanas: You are a bigger fool than I thought if you think the Elven Council will ignore my transgressions at this point. I have cast the die and will see this to the very end. Your meddling ends here!

Sylvanas begins to chant a magical spell. Before you can react, a ball lightning forms in the cusp of Sylvanas's hand. You can hear the air crackling and the heat is intense. You wonder how Sylvanas is not being burned by it. Before you can finish that thought, she hurls the ball lightning at you. A few of your men are not so lucky to dodge it but you are barely able to sidestep it. It crashes against the castle wall and leaves a gaping hole.

Celesta: I'll need some time but I know a way to stop her. Buy me some time and lead her into the middle of room. I will give you the signal when I am ready.

You grasp your weapon tightly and charge at Sylvanas. You dodge the lightning spells she sends your way and close the distance. You take a couple of heavy swings at her but she evades them with ease. Sylvanas quickly starts chanting and waves her right hand toward you. You are sent flying back through the air. You crash against the wall and have the wind knocked out of you. As you look up another ball lightning is headed your way. You close your eyes and brace for impact as there is no time to avoid the spell. You can feel the intense heat burn your skin. Then in an instant, it's gone.

Terra: Get to your feet! I have cast a Barrier on you. Now is your chance to take her down.

You quickly jump to your feet. You will need a plan this time. You adjust your armor and charge back in at Sylvanas.

Sylvanas: You are no match for me!

Again you take a couple of heavy swings at Sylvanas but just as she had done previously, she avoids the strikes with ease and begins her chant.

It is the same spell as before as you had hoped for! In an instant, you are sent flying back. However, this time you are ready for it. You take the dagger from your belt and throw it at Sylvanas! Sylvanas jumps out of the way but the dagger blade grazes her left shoulder.

Sylvanas: How dare you human!

You: Now I've got you! Celesta! Now!

Celesta finishes her spell and a green rune appears at Sylvanas's feet. It is a drain life spell! The rune rises up from Slyvanas's feet and encircles her body and appears to tighten around her. Sylvanas screams in pain. The drain life spell ceases and Sylvanas falls to the floor.

Sylvanas: This will not be the last of me!

Sylvanas again begins to chant. This time a large portal appears and Sylvanas crawls into it. The portal closes quickly. It feels like all the air in the room has been sucked out of the room. Sylvanas is gone.

You: So now where?

Celesta: We cannot take more time chasing after Sylvanas. We must head east to the Land of Water. Hopefully we will be able to find the source of all this evil energy there.

The Battle of the Dark Legion - Victory !

I'll be very fast...need to have dinner after updating this.
This War belong to one of my army member, WenDy.
So this is the Journey and the Battle.

The orcs are breaching the eastern wall! Your dwarven allies are doing their best to fortify the wall but you can see they are being overwhelmed. If they do not receive help, the wall will be breached and the castle will eventually fall!

You take a small group of paladins and head towards the eastern wall. As you make your way up the ladder and run past the archers, you can feel the heat from the archers flame arrows as they are fired towards the orc invaders.

You arrive at the eastern wall just in time with the group of paladins. Your blade cuts through multiple orcs. Your paladin allies are just as quick to take care of their opponents. However, the orc invaders continue to pour in through the damaged eastern rampart. The paladins are doing their best to heal the wounded dwarves and fight off the orcs at the same time but it will be only a matter of time before the orcs make it through. You must make the tough decision to retreat from the eastern wall. Your only hope is to regroup with your other allies and hold out as long as you can.

Some Elven Blades appear by your side and buy you some time to escape. As they fight off the orcs, you have the paladins take the wounded dwarves and retreat towards the castle courtyard. There you can regroup with the other knights and make a final stand. Even if the outcome seems bleak, you will do your best to take down as many orcs as you can.

The path towards the castle courtyard is littered with the bodies of both defeated allies and enemies. Yet, you do not have a moment to think about the deceased as you must do your best to remain alive. The knights are already in the courtyard. They have set up a barricade using whatever was available. This is it. This will be the place of your final stand. As all the able-bodied army members prepare themselves for battle, you take a glance towards the eastern sky. You can see the sun start to peak through. What seems to be your final sunrise, also seems to be the most beautiful you have ever seen. Before you have another moment to appreciate the sunrise, you can hear the orcs coming.

They are closing in on your position! The makeshift barricade serves its purpose and it limits the number of attackers that can reach you. You fell multiple orcs with your efficient strikes but there is no end in sight. You can see your allies around you do their best to fight off the orcs. The dwarven battlemasters wave their heavy axes around as if they were light as a feather. The archers efficiently pull their bowstrings taut and let the arrows fly with pinpoint accuracy towards their foes. The elven blades gracefully and efficiently dispatch the orcs with their swords. The knights courageously fight with all their might. The noble paladins whose quiet demeanor belie their skill in battle dispatch orcs swiftly. However, without help, you realize this will be the end. The Horde of orcs continue to pour into the courtyard. You find yourself surrounded by a trio of orcs. This might be your last moment...

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning strikes one of the orcs. It's Celesta! And she has brought reinforcements! Strider! Dragan! Sano! Elizabeth! Dante! They have come to the rescue. You and your allies are invigorated by the reinforcements! With renewed strength, you cut through several more orcs. The other heroes are helping to push back the orcs! The orcs see that their comrades are falling easily. They are scared to approach you and your army!

You: CHARGE! PUSH THEM BACK FROM WHENCE THEY CAME!

As orc after orc is dispatched, the bloodlust of the Horde disappears and is replaced with fear. They are retreating! You have won!

The allies around you cheer. Humans, dwarves, and elves alike celebrate together. This should be a moment to be proud of. But there is something nagging you...where did this Horde come from?

Celesta: What is wrong? You look like you have seen a ghost. You should be celebrating this victory.

You: Oh nothing. I am just exhausted. I am glad to see you and you came just in the nick of time!

New Achievement Status: Colossus Hunter!

For this mission i'm using Mercedes as my Hero ^^

Mercedes once bound her master in everlasting sleep and now uses him as a catalyst for her ever growing collection of spells.

The ensuing battle rages for some time with no sign of end...With a roar of frustration, the giant stomps the ground and turns toward you! A swipe from the giant's hulking sword barely misses you and crashes to the ground. Immediately a bright blast from Celesta's direction explodes against the giant and he is momentarily stunned. You seize this moment to jump on the giant's blade and climb up his arm.

Led by your friends, dark knight and Dragan, your army presses forward! However, their blows are ineffective, and the giant is angry. He recovers and readies for another strike. It is too late. You have reached his head and deliver the finishing blow. The giant tumbles to the floor and the path to the temple lies before you.

You have defeated the Stone Giant and already claimed the Crystal of Earth. Now it is time to journey to the Land of Mist and search for the Crystal of Air.

Eye of the Storm - Land Of Mist CA

Battling through hordes of orcs and undead monsters, you reach the top of the tower, and step into a dark throne room...

Celesta: Sylvana... Have you gone mad? What is the meaning of this?!!

Sylvana: Naive little Celesta... You are a fool! Once we gather all the Crystals, Mephistopheles will enter this world and usher in a new era.

The exchange is cut short as orcs pour into the room.
Suddenly, the room flashes white and Celesta screams. When your vision returns, Celesta is on the floor writhing in pain. There is no time to waste. You drive your blade deep into the chest of the first orc and your men are quick to follow suit. Once again the orcs are no match for your forces and are driven back. You call out to your men to seal the door, but no sound comes from your mouth...

You... cannot move...

A soft slender hand slowly rests on your shoulder, and you feel the warmth of Sylvana's breath behind your ear.

Sylvana whispers: "The Darkness rewards those who embrace it."

You hear a loud clap from Celesta's direction, and you find you are able to move again! You quickly turn and raise your blade to Sylvana's neck, but you hesitate...

Sylvana: "Think about it..."

Sylvana's lips curl into a smile as her form slowly fades into a mist and disappears into the darkness. The room is silent. At the side of the room, you see Celesta looking back at you with concern in her eyes... At this moment, a bright glimmer catches your attention. At the end of the room above the throne is an orb bathed in swirling white lights.

Ragnarok, The Ice Elemental

You have just defeated the Ragnarok, The Ice Elemental

The air around you is so cold, it makes it hard to breathe. Ragnarok continues its onslaught on your army. Ragnarok seems determined to protect Icepeake. What is making it so difficult to defeat Ragnarok is its thick glacial armor. It seems your weapons have little or no effect. Broken arrows and bent swords are strewn across the battlefield. Most of the army is stricken with severe frostbite. There must be a way to take down the glacial armor and find the elemental monster's soul stone.

You: "There must be a way to take down that glacial armor. Celesta would it be possible to concentrate your fire-based spells on Ragnarok?"

Celesta: "I can do my best but I doubt my spells by itself will be powerful enough to affect Ragnarok. However, if you can summon a greater phoenix, I may be able to channel the fire element within the magical creature and amplify the effect of my spell."

You: "It seems like its worth a try."

You close your eyes and do your best to block out the chilling wind blowing against your face. You focus in on the image of your greater phoenix. You call out to the phoenix from within your mind and try to form a connection between yourself and the magical creature. In an instant, a glowing warmth appears around you, instantly dispelling the cold atmosphere. The greater phoenix has appeared! The massive creature spreads its wings, which are about the length of six grown adult men, and lets out a great cry. It is quite a site to behold such a large and powerful magical creature.

You: "Thank you for coming my friend. Please lend me you power to help me defeat this elemental."

The greater phoenix squawks in agreement and lowers its head close to the ground. Celesta nods her head to affirm. She lightly places her hand on the phoenix's head and begins to whisper a magical incantation. You can feel the air around you get warmer and warmer. You would think that it would start to burn but it is a comforting and inviting sense of warmth. In a bright flash of light, the greater phoenix disappears. A wisp of smoke and the smell of sulfur remains in the air. A tiny phoenix the size of a large common cat flaps its wings in the place where the majestic phoenix was just moments ago. You turn your vision towards Celesta and see a burning energy emanating from her eyes. You step back and brace yourself.

Celesta again begins to murmur a magical incantation, and in an instant, a searing fireball leaves her hands and flies towards Ragnarok. The fireball hits Ragnarok square in the chest and the elemental roars in great pain and anguish. From the point of impact there is a large crater within its glacial armor. From that crater you can see large fissures open up. It seems like multiple avalanches are starting all over Ragnarok's body. The elemental continues to roar in pain. Sheets of ice start to fall towards the ground from the elemental's body and your men run for cover to avoid being crushed by the massive bodies of ice.

There it is! You see it! The elemental's soul stone is located on its forehead. However, there does not seem to be much time. It seems like the glacial armor is starting to reform. You grab a bow and arrow from your closest soldier and take aim. Celesta snaps her fingers and the arrow becomes lit with a flame. You steady your breath and pull the arrow back. You let it fly! The arrows cuts through the cold air. A direct hit to the elemental's soul stone!

Ragnarok unleashes a deafening roar. Sheets of ice begin to fall into the frigid ocean waters below. Ragnarok begins to sink into the watery depths and in an instant Ragnarok is gone.

You let out a deep sigh and you see your breath condense into a small cloud. You suddenly feel a small weight on your shoulder. Its the reincarnated phoenix, now in its smaller form. It lets out a small chirp and you crack with a small smile in return.

Earth Elemental Castle Age

You have just defeated the Genesis, The Earth Elemental

Genesis continues to march towards Illvasa. If he gets any closer, it will knock down the base of the plateau and the city will come crashing down. Now is the time for you and your army to make a stand! Most of your army seems decimated. Is there any possible way to take down Genesis?

Celesta: "Most elementals contain a soul stone, which contain the elemental essence and magicks that give them life. It must be somewhere."

You: "Wait! I remember when one of the elven archers shot an arrow that hit the Earth Elemental in the back. It bellowed in pain. It must be close to there. I must give it a shot. I will make my way up there. It's our only hope of stopping this thing."

Celesta motions to one of the angels.

Celesta: "Lailah will take you up to the elemental's back. From there it's up to you stop it before it destroys Illvasa."

Lailah hooks her arms under yours and with a great flap of her angelic wings, you take to the skies. The scene is exhilarating but you must keep focus. You must take out Genesis before it's too late. Lailah swoops far behind Genesis and approaches it, aiming for the back.

Lailah: "I will drop you off there in that thicket of trees. I apologize I cannot get you closer for I fear the monster will take us both out."

You: "You have done enough. I will do my best!"

Lailah dives towards the thicket of trees. Your feet barely grazes the trees. All of a sudden, Lailah lets go. The landing is a bit rough as you crash through a number of tree branches. You feel the earth beneath your feet rumble as Genesis continues to march along towards Illvasa. You realize that you are traversing your way on top of a living being. You see Illvasa in the distance. You must hurry! You make your way through the forest looking for any signs of the soul stone. Then out of the corner of your eye, you see a glimmer of light. That must be it! The area is surrounded by brambles and thorns. Even your mighty sword has a tough time cutting through. Then you see it! A large pulsating green orb. That must be the soul stone. You grip the hilt of your sword with both hands and thrust the blade through the orb.

GENESIS: "WHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAT YOU HAVE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Genesis lets out a tremendous roar which can be heard for miles on end. The earth beneath your feet begins to shake violently and crumble. Then you realize you must get out of here but how? You struggle to gain your balance but you make your way towards a mountain peak a short distance away. You are hoping the high ground will provide you a way out. Huge fissures begin open up. It seems like it's only a matter of time before everything crumbles and you will get swallowed by the huge fissures. At least you have saved the city of Illvasa. Then all of sudden you feel yourself being lifted up. It's Lailah to the rescue!

Lailah: "Congratulations warrior. You have saved us. Rest now. I will ensure we get back to Illvasa safely."

You take a deep breath. Now that the threat is over you have a chance to appreciate the breathtaking views from the skies. It's a glorious sunset.

Bahamut the Volcanic Dragon - Castle Age

You have just defeated the Bahamut, the Volcanic Dragon

The clouds swirl above causing purples, grays, and blues to mix together into a giant vortex. The air seems charged with a dark energy that sends chills down your spine. The spinning of the clouds suddenly slows and they start to part. A massive arm reaches beyond the rift created in the heavens and comes crashing down to earth. What is this frightening creature? More importantly, why are these rifts being created? Before you have time to think, another large arm reaches through the rift in the skies. Whatever it is, it is definitely massive. It slowly becomes clear as a silhouette of a large dragon appears through the dark skies. The creature lets out a loud roar that would make a grown man cower in fear. Never have you seen a dragon this enormous. The one makes all those Ancient Red Dragons you fought look like mere whelps in comparison to this creature from the rift.

Bahamut: "Yesssssssss!!!! I have escaped my prison in the Underworld! That fool Mephistophelesssss sssserved some purpose after all! I am free to destroy this world!"

Celesta: "I cannot believe it. How could this be…."

You see Celestas face turn pale.

You: "What is it Celesta? What is the matter?"

Celesta: "That is Bahamut! My ancestors use to tell me tales a large dragon so fierce and horrifying that it almost destroyed our world. The story said Bahamut almost succeeded in this goal except he was sealed away in the Underworld by the great Elven Sage. I use to think it was a just a tale to scare young elven children. I never thought that it could be true…"

You: "How could this happen? If he was sealed away, why would he come back now?"

Celesta: "The creature did speak of Mephistopheles. I wonder if the seal that controlled the creature was weakened when Mephistopheles entered this world. That must be it!"

You: "How do stop this creature? It seems if we do not stop it, it will destroy this world."

Celesta: " The only person I know that has any knowledge of this creature and would know how to seal it away would be an elf by the name of Medius. He is one of the few elves currently alive that would have been there during those dark times when Bahamut last attacked."

You: "Please find him as soon as you can. We will do our best to hold Bahamut back but we may not have much time."

You gather your army around as Celesta quickly teleports away to an unknown location.

You: "We may not survive this battle but we must do our best to buy time for Celesta. She is our only hope. We must buy her time or it will be the end of this world as we know it. We must fight for our children and our future. I am proud to have fought next to such brave individuals."

Your army rides toward the mountain range from which the rift originated. The sight of Bahamut in the distance frightens even you. It's taking every ounce of courage to maintain your composure. If you were to ride away now, your army would quickly scatter and there would be no hope to hold off this creature.

Bahamut: "You silly humans dare to oppose me? Without that accursed Elven Sage, you have no hopes to stop me! I will crush you all before I destroy this insignificant world you humans call home."

Bahamut rises up and arches its back. It looks like he is about to launch some sort of attack! You signal to the mages to ready their Deflection spell. The mages all start to chant in unison and a large barrier starts to form around your party. However, before they can finish the spell Bahamut completes his attack. Bahamut spews molten lava from its mouth at your party. The lava hits the barrier. It looks as if the Deflection barrier will hold but wait…there was a portion of the barrier which was not completed! The screams of your army cut through the air and your heart sinks. The smell of burning flesh makes you nauseous but there is no choice but to carry on. The lives of your army must not be in vain. The clerics quickly cast heal on the party members who were injured and the party pushes forward. The warriors quickly take up the front lines to deflect Bahamut's attacks as best they can. Some of them fall but the party pushes forward.

It looks like Bahamut is readying for another large attack. You quickly direct the rogues in the group to charge and hopefully stun Bahamut before it can launch another attack. The rogues quickly dart forward and attack in a coordinated fashion. Bahamut becomes distracted as it tries to swat away the rogues as if they were nothing but small flies. It looks like the group of rogues have taken massive damage but they were at least able to prevent Bahamut from spewing lava again. This battle will be short-lived if Celesta cannot make it back with Medius.

Just in time you see Celesta riding toward the rear of your party with Medius by her side. Hopefully they will have the answers to seal Bahamut back in the Underworld. As you complete your thought, you are jerked back to reality by a loud screech from Bahamut. It seems it has taken notice of Medius and Celesta.

Bahamut: "THE ELVEN SAGE! HOW FOOLISH OF YOU TO SHOW YOUR FACE HERE. YOU HAVE SAVED ME THE EFFORT OF FINDING YOU SO THAT I CAN DESTROY YOU!"

Is Bahamut referring to Medius? How could it be possible that Medius is the Elven Sage? All of sudden you see Bahamut charging for another Lava Breath attack. Its target must be Celesta and Medius. If they perish, there will be no hope left. You pull hard on the reins of your horse and head back towards Celesta and Medius. Bahamut unleashes for a great fireball in the direction of Celesta and Medius. Will you be able to make it in time? You leap off your horse and tackle Celesta and Medius to the ground. The fireball misses Celesta and Medius by a hair but grazes your left arm. The pain is excruciating as your skin is seared off. The pain is causing you lose consciousness. Will Celesta and Medius be able to make it time and banish Bahamut back to the Undeworld?

As your eyes get heavier and heavier, you see Medius start a chant and create a large magical seal. Meanwhile, Celesta has created a large magical barrier to protect them as Bahamut continues his assault. A deafening roar is unleashed. Bahamut is writhes in pain.

Bahamut: "NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAINNNNN!"

The skies part again and large beam of light shines through. The rift from which Bahamut originated begins to open again. However, this time, Bahamut is raised into the skies. The sky has turned an unnatural shade of purple and yellow. Bahamut continues to resist but it looks as if Medius's magical seal has worked. Bahamut slowly disappears through the rift and after what seems to be an eternity, it is gone. The skies become calm and clear from the sky. The sun shines on your face. It is a comforting warmth. Your eyes become tougher and tougher to hold open. Celesta runs over to you. It looks like she is trying to talk to you but yet you hear no sound. Maybe it truly is the end for you. Your last moments were triumphant. You hope for a proper warriors burial and hope that they will sing songs of your name for generations to come. Your last image as your eyes go dark is that of Celesta's glowing hands hovering over your chest.
